Day 01 - Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, India's bustling capital, meet India Budget Tours representative at the airport for assisted transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 - New & Old Delhi Sightseeing
Post morning meal, begin the discovery of Delhi's different facets including a visit to Old and New Delhi. Pay respects to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi built on his cremation site. Stroll around the mile-long Chandni Chowk lane, famous worldwide for its bazaars. Continue exploring Delhi with a visit to the Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar.
In the evening, enjoy the drive along the Rajpath, the city's broadest avenue wherein a spectacular experience of viewing the Parliament House, the President's House and India Gate await a hearty traveller. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 - Delhi - Bhubaneshwar
Take off from Delhi towards Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Orissa / Odisha. This city of temples serves as the entry point for East India Vacations and provides travellers with an insightful sightseeing of the superb Hindu temples. Upon arrival, check in the hotel for the overnight stay. After check in, continue the Bhubaneshwar city tour with a visit to the Lingaraj Temple, the magnificent 11th century temple displaying the best of Orissan temple architecture. Within the temple complex, the presiding deity of Lord Tribhuvaneshwar, a manifestation of Lord Shiva is worshipped with great zeal. Also, the temple is known for Bindu Sagar Sarovar, a tank known to contain water from every sacred river in India. Day 04 - Bhubaneshwar - Konarak - Puri
Check out Bhubaneshwar for a drive towards Konark (56 km / 1 ½ hrs). This city is frequented by many tourists for one famous reason i.e. the Sun Temple, which is undoubtedly the best specimen of its kind in Odisha. Carving this majestic chariot temple took the efforts of 1200 artisans and consumed 16 years to reach the apogee of excellence. The chariot is completed with the use of 12 majestic wheels and the walls are beautified with the use of erotic sculptures. After the visit to the Sun temple of Konark, continue the drive towards Puri, another spiritual center of Odisha (60 kms / 1 ½ hrs). Overnight in Puri.
Day 05 - Puri
In the morning, visit the Jagannath Temple, one of the four famous Char Dham Pilgrimages in India. Built in 12th century, this temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannatha, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu along with Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra. The temple comes alive in the month of July with the Annual Ratha Yatra Chariot pulling celebrations. During this majestic festival, the pilgrims pull the chariot bearing the idols of the presiding deities here with great enthusiasm and merriment. After the visit to the pious temple is done, visit the Puri Beach and relax in the spiritual aura of Puri. Overnight in Puri.
Day 06 - Puri - Bhubaneshwar - Kolkata
Check out Puri this morning for Bhubaneshwar to continue the East India Vacations Tour wherein the tourists will board a flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, meet India Budget Tour representative for check-in assistance. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 07 - Kolkata Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin Kolkata city tour with a visit to the iconic landmarks of the city of joy. Cover Victoria Memorial, Jain Temple and Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity Ashram. This place inspires everyone to do a good deed everyday by helping those in need and strikes an emotional chord with most of the visitors. The afternoon is at leisure. Day 08 -Depart Kolkata
